Filipino Martial Arts – Latosa Concepts

/ 12 Mar 2016

What is Latosa Concepts, FMA? Latosa Concepts is based largely on the dynamic teachings of Grand Master Rene Latosa. As well as being a stand-alone system, the Filipino Martial Arts also work well as a supplement to other martial arts because of the realistic view of weapons. Realistic, logical, and dynamic solutions to self-defense are the key. Solid and honest strikes are the lifeblood of Latosa Concepts,...

The New Generation of Original Pilipino Music: 5 Artists To Listen To Now

/ 16 Feb 2016

Many Generation X kids hark back to the 1990s-early 2000s as a golden age of Original Pilipino Music’s (OPM) modern rock scene. This period saw the rise of greats such as The Eraserheads, Rivermaya, Parokya ni Edgar, Wolfgang and many others that strengthened the pillars of that quintessential Pinoy rock sound. Forward to a decade and a half later, the Philippine radio soundscape has changed...

DK imod diskrimination- stop Folketingets danskhedsdefinition

February 23, 2017, 5:00pm - February 23, 2017, 7:00pm

18.35. ___________________________________________________ On February 9th 2017, the parliament published a statement in which it was written that it has been observed with great concern that there are now areas of Denmark in which the amount of immigrants from non-Western countries outnumber the amount of ethnically Danish citizens. The parliament believes that Danes should never be the minority in residential areas in Denmark. On this background, the parliament therefore stated that non-Western immigrants and their children are not to be defined as Danish. The conclusion of this decision is an exclusion of our fellow citizens, a contributions to the “us versus them”-discourse, and blatant theft of the individual feeling of nationality. The definition and characteristics of “being Danish” is being debated now more than ever, but enough is enough! Being Danish cannot and should not be defined. Show up at Christiansborg Slotsplads on Thursday, February 23rd 17-19pm, where we, with music and speeches, will show our discontent with the parliaments’ decision as well as the debate in general. We are looking forward to seeing as many as possible! If you wish to support the event financially, you are more than welcome to donate an amount of your own liking to MobilePay 22529885
